Discovery Day - repertoire by female composers

Saturday 5th October 2024

10am - 4pm, Trinity Methodist Church, Brewery Road, Woking, GU21 4LH

Presented by Amy Bebbington

An enjoyable day of singing and repertoire to inspire conductors, singers and programme planners alike.

Join our Director of Training Amy Bebbington, with representation from publishers Encore Publications and Multitude of Voyces, to immerse yourself in works, new and old, by female composers throughout history and from across the globe and enjoy networking with colleagues and composers.

Amy will be joined by some of today's leading female composers: Sarah Cattley, Joanna Marsh and Janet Wheeler, giving a unique opportunity to explore and discuss their music with them.

This day will be a useful opportunity to sing through an abundance of predominantly mixed voice choral works written by women in order to reveal little-known repertoire and to balance future choral programmes: not to be missed!
