Glasgow is exceptionally easy to get to, by air, rail or road, and our Convention venue and accommodation are both located in the city centre.
Three international airports serve the city - Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh, the last just 45 minutes' away. The Airport Express bus service runs from Glasgow Airport to the city centre every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, takes about 15 minutes, and goes from directly outside the airport entrance. It stops at several city centre locations, ending at Buchanan bus station, 5 minutes' walk from both the Conservatoire and the accommodation at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Glasgow Central Station links Glasgow to all UK cities. Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central stations are both within ten to fifteen minutes' walk of the Conservatoire.
The easiest way to book transport is online: for information on all modes of public transport see Traveline (www.traveline.org.uk or www.travelinescotland.com). For fares, see the websites of the travel companies themselves.
Glasgow has excellent motorway connections with England via the M74, Edinburgh via the M8, Stirling via the M80 and the West Coast via the M77. There is limited free parking available on a first come, first served basis at Glasgow Caledonian University, although we cannot guarantee an available space. However, there is metered street parking and a multi-storey car-park nearby. There is no parking at the Conservatoire itself, but there are public car parks nearby.
