Sandbach Choral Society has 40+ SATB members and we rehearse on Tuesday evenings 7.30 - 9.00 pm.
We are a friendly non-auditioned choir and we are led by our Musical Director, Stephen Newlove, who is a tenor soloist and Deputy Director of Music at Stockport Grammar School.
We sing a range of choral works by composers such as Fauré; Handel; Chilcott; Haydn; Mozart. Our current accompanist is leaving to take up work closer to his home and we are looking to appoint an accompanist with effect from our new season in September, 2023. A suitable salary will be paid to reflect preparation.
We perform four concerts a year, in Spring, Summer, Autumn and at Christmas.
