National Youth Choir is delighted to invite applications from exceptional and inspirational choral conductors to work with our youngest singers, aged 9 to 15, at the very highest level.

We are looking to award contracts to two conductors: one to work predominantly with our male and non-binary singers, and the other to work predominantly with our female and non-binary singers. The two successful applicants will work under the direction of newly appointed Principal Conductor, Lynsey Callaghan, and report to the Creative Director, Lucy Hollins. They will also work closely with our extensive freelance creative team.

Selection Process

Tenders will be initially scored and shortlisted on the basis of the information provided in application. Applicants will be considered on the basis of their ability to demonstrate the specified skills and experience required to deliver the contract. We will only shortlist applicants who confirm their eligibility to work in the UK.
