Northfield Notes Community Choir brings together people in our local community who love to sing! Singing together can be life-changing and contributes to general health and well-being. Our choir offers friendship in a relaxed setting, and the opportunity to learn new skills which are enjoyed and shared through local performances. We welcome people from all backgrounds and abilities, some of whom have never had the opportunity to join a choir, or have struggled with barriers to participation such as lack of confidence, loneliness, mental health issues following loss of employment, illness or bereavement, or simply find it difficult coping in more formal settings. We currently have around 25 regular members. Our repertoire has been varied, including pop, gospel, folk, however we are always open to learning new things which are uplifting and put a smile on your face!
We meet at Holloway Hall, Northfield, South Birmingham B31 1TT on Thursday evenings (during term-time) from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.
