Anston Ladies Choir are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Musical Director to assist with conducting and leading our choir.
The Choir was formed over 40 years ago and has been led by Judith for a good number of years, it's now time for her to take on 'lighter' duties so we are looking for someone to work alongside her during this transition.
We rehearse every Tuesday (with breaks during Eater, Summer & Christmas at St James Church Hall, Ryton Rd, North Anston, Sheffield S25 from 7:30pm to 9:30 pm.
The choir of up to 40 members, mainly perform SSA arrangements of a wide range of music; songs from the musicals, pop, hymns and ballads.
We host a couple of concerts per year where we raise funds for charities and also perform at Christmas events, weddings and christenings.
The current MD and pianist both accept an honorarium, and this will be discussed with applicants.
