Hathersage Choir is looking to appoint an entuhsiastic challenging and inspiring Musical Director From September 2025, following the retirement of our present MD. We are a 60-strong, non-auditioned SATB choir drawn from villages in the Hope Valley and outskirts of Sheffield. we enjoy the support of an excellent accompanist who plays for rehearsals and concerts. Established in 1995, the choir celebrates 30 years of singing this year. We rehearse on a Monday evening in Hathersage Memorial Hall S32 1DU and stage concerts twice a year. We join each other every Monday to create music, make new friendships and have fun, and we want our new Musical Director to support us in these aims. We are friendly and welcoming and very much enjoy being developed and challenged by singing a wide variety of music.
