JUBILATE CHAMBER CHOIR, a well-established Oxford choir, currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, is looking for a new conductor to start in October 2025.
We are a mixed-voice chamber choir of about 30 voices, consisting mainly of professional people living or working in Oxford, and we enjoy singing a wide range of music from the Renaissance to the present day to a high standard. We give three main concerts a year in and around Oxford, and have performed in all the main concert venues, including Christ Church Cathedral, Keble College Chapel, the Church of St. John the Evangelist and the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin. Entry is by audition, and all members are experienced singers with good sight-reading ability. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Oxford, more or less in line with the academic terms.
