Choral Conducting: An Introductory Guide Part Two

This half-day online course is for all those who want to learn about the foundations of choral leadership, and would suit those who have attended previous Choral Conducting: An Introductory Guide events. It will cover key topics such as:

Independence of hands, or the non-beating arm: Learn effective skills for showing dynamic variation, articulation, phrasing and cues with the non-beating arm

Pauses: Discover different types of pauses and how to manage and communicate these effectively using a variety of musical examples

Voicing your choir: Discover how to listen to singers and move them around in order to achieve optimal blend and maximise the potential sound of your choir
There will be three sessions during the event, all held on Zoom. These will run from 9-10am, 10.30-11.30am and 12-1pm.
Please note that if you book on Friday evening or early Saturday, you may not receive your event information until Saturday morning.
