Bahar Choir is seeking a conductor / music teacher to lead our English language choir and work with amateur singers to develop their musical skills.

Position: Choir Conductor / Music Teacher
Location: Marylebone, London
Schedule: Saturdays, 2 hours per session
Start Date: September 2025
Payment: £70 per session (2 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach amateur singers how to read music and develop rhythmic accuracy.

• Lead engaging weekly rehearsals in a classical style.

• Select repertoire suited to the choir’s level and goals.

• Foster a supportive and motivating rehearsal environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a choir conductor or music teacher.

• Strong understanding of classical music and choral repertoire.

• Ability to teach music reading and rhythm to beginners.

• Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.

• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for developing amateur singers.
