Thornbury Choral Society (TCS) are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Musical Director and Conductor for September 2026.

TCS was established in 1963 and is a friendly, non-audition SATB choir with around 75 members.  We rehearse on Monday evenings from 8.00-9.30pm and sing music ranging from traditional to modern classical.  We offer two concerts a year and hold a workshop and other musical activities.

We hope our new Musical Director will continue to enhance our repertoire and singing ability and inspire us to enthuse our loyal, local audience.

The closing date for applications including a current C.V. by email, is Friday 10^th October 2025.  We expect to hold interviews including conducting the choir as part of a rehearsal in October/November and appoint soon afterwards.
