The Leconfield Singers are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic pianist/ accompanist to join our ambitious and friendly choir in Petworth, West Sussex.

We are a non-auditioning choir of around 80 members directed by Graham Wili. Since our formation in 2012, the Choir has earned a reputation for a high level of performance, and over the years we have sung in numerous cathedrals and prestigious venues as well as our annual European tour incorporating three concerts.

We perform large-scale choral works, mixed repertoire concerts (renaissance to present day) and occasionally jazz. Most concerts are performed in either St Mary's Church in Petworth or Arundel Cathedral. 

Rehearsals and Commitments:

• Weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, 7:45pm–9:45pm (Petworth) from Sept to mid July
• Take sectional rehearsals as required (additional fee)
• Saturday workshops/Come & Sing events (4 to 5 a year)

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is an accomplished pianist with strong sight-reading skills
• Is reliable, well-prepared, and enjoys collaborative music-making
• Is able to support full choir and sectional rehearsals
• Holds a music degree and/or has previous experience in a similar role (both highly desirable but not essential)
