The Decibelles are a choir of around 25 female voices. We currently sing a varied mix of pieces, from pop and show tunes to light classical works. Our current leader has introduced us to four-part harmony, which we have really enjoyed.

We are looking for a warm, patient, and enthusiastic Choir Leader to take us forward from the Autumn term. Someone who:

• Enjoys the social side: For many of our singers the choir is also a hobby and a chance to socialise.
• Is patient and flexible: as a community group, not everyone can attend every week, and we like to take our time getting the music right.
• Keeps it fun: Can keep rehearsals upbeat and encouraging, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile.

Rehearsals: Wednesday evenings, 7:30 – 9:30pm (Heald Green, SK8).

Support: you’ll be working with our wonderful and experienced pianist.

Goal: Leading us through two relaxed charity concerts a year.
