The Woodside Singers is a friendly, amateur, four-part adult choir of about 26 members. We rehearse in school term-time on Monday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Hounsdown School, Totton, Southampton SO40 9FT, sing anything ‘from Bach to the Beatles’, and take pride in performing concerts (on occasion with professional soloists) 2-3 times per year in the local area.

We are seeking a confident, accomplished pianist to start in January 2027 who has excellent sight-reading and listening skills and who is able to support us in concerts to our usual high standard. We offer an honorarium which is paid retrospectively per half-term.

The interview process will comprise a virtual meeting with the conductor and 2 members of the committee in early November (date and time to suit) followed by a trial run at one of our Monday evening rehearsals should you be shortlisted.

Please apply by email along with your cv (or send any queries) with the subject matter ‘Accompanist’ to info@woodsidesingers.co.uk.  Deadline for applications is 8am Monday 26th October 2026.  We look forward to hearing from you.
