Experienced singers required for Shostakovich performance

Shostakovich Symphony No.2 with the London Shostakovich Orchestra

Invitation to able and experienced choral singers!

This orchestra of amateur and semi-professional musicians, formed in 1999 by their conductor, Christopher Cox, meets once or twice a year to perform Shostakovich symphonies and other related works. (See their website www.shostakovich.com )

A choir is being formed to perform Symphony No. 2, a short and intense choral part!

Date: Saturday 14 May 2011

Venue: St.Cyprian's, Glentworth Street, nr. Baker Street, London

Rehearsals: Saturday 7 May and on the day of the concert. Another rehearsal may be scheduled.

Russian language coaching will be arranged and music supply is being organised.
