Thanks to funding from the Ernest Cook Trust abcd have been able to offer apprenticeships to student and aspiring conductors since 2005. We are now able to offer a further two choral conducting apprenticeships for 2012/13 and welcome applications from both established choral conductors and their choirs as well as potential apprentices. Huge congratulations to our President and founder member John Rutter, who received his knighthood from the King this week, having been awarded his knighthood in His Majesty The King’s 2024 Birthday Honours for services to music.
Choral music at its most vibrant will fill the splendid Duke’s Hall at London’s Royal Academy of Music throughout the weekend of 2-3 November 2024 as singers and conductors from the UK and around the world collaborate in an international celebration of the choral arts.
