Booking is now open for abcd's 26th Annual Convention, being held at Birmingham Conservatoire from 26-28 August.
Join us to celebrate our quarter century in the culture-rich city of Birmingham. The regional team, headed by artistic advisors Mike Brewer and David Lawrence, have put together an inspiring programme. Our presenters include Eric Whitacre, leading New Zealand singing teacher Judy Bellingham, John Rutter, Simon Halsey, Paul Spicer, Jo McNally and Pamela Cook.
The gala concert takes place on Saturday 27 August in Town Hall, Birmingham at 7.45pm, where the choirs performing will be the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, Cantamus and the Hungarian chamber choir Ars Nova. The concert will be introduced by Simon Halsey and Eric Whitacre, who will also both be conducting massed choir items. Ticket will be on sale to the public shortly.
