A new youth choir is being launched this September in London. The London Youth Choir is an exciting new initiative to provide London's young singers with a world class choral education and to create a flagship ensemble to represent the city of London on a world stage.
The new organisation will also develop training choirs to develop choral singing and provide young singers in London with high level choral training and performance opportunities. The choirs are open to singers between the ages of 8 and 21, from any London borough.
The choir has been set up by Suzi Digby and Rachel Staunton, who, along with Greg Hallam, will conduct the pyramid of choirs. Auditions will be held in September - for further information, click here.
