The Role
We are looking for someone who, reporting to the Board and working with the General Secretary and other volunteers, can play a major part in bringing a distinctive and appealing overall shape, character and content to The Podium.
Main tasks would include:

Coordinating the commissioning of new material, whether written, audio or video,
-
Working with the Reviews Editor to maintain a useful library of reviews of new publications,
-
Publishing other articles or items of interest in a variety of media,
-
Working with the Director of Training to plan and develop The Podium's distance learning function,
-
Advise on the design and presentation of The Podium
The ideal candidate/s will possess
-
a broad knowledge of and enthusiasm for choral music
-
proven writing and networking skills
-
experience of editing a magazine or newsletter is preferable
-
a working knowledge of the capabilities of the new digital media
-
an ability to build a team of contributors
