New resources to help conductors and their choirs make plans to return to singing and work their way through the Government guidelines are now available on our website.
We have put together three documents to assist conductors and their choirs in their planning and risk assessments for returning to singing in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic and all are available publicly. All three are designed to be read in conjunction with each other:
abcd members can also attend a free webinar this Saturday, 12 September, at 11am when Professor Martin Ashley will lead a session focusing on risk management and the practical considerations that are needed for a path back to live rehearsals for choirs, conductors and their committees. He will be joined by Norwegian conductor Thomas Caplin, who is involved in quantitative research with choirs on returning to singing there, and will give us an international perspective.
You can find links to all the relevant Government guidance and a summary of the main points here and lots of useful information to help choir leaders and their singers at this time here.
