In light of the Prime Minister's announcement of a second lock-down for England from 5 November to 2 December, the DCMS performing arts guidelines have been updated (today, 5 November) and confirm the earlier advice that no non-professional activity can take place during this time. Professionals may continue to rehearse and train, and perform for broadcast or recording purposes.
Music can continue in schools. The DfE have issued guidance which clarifies that music can continue with safety precautions. Visiting teachers are allowed to teach in schools but you are not able to teach face to face in your own home.
