Accompanist: Schola Apium
Schola Apium is a mixed voice chamber choir based in central / south Manchester near the University campus. We rehearse 6:45-9:00pm every Monday evening at St. Chrysostom's on Anson Road. Current membership is approximately 16 singers. We perform three times a year (Christmas, Easter, summer) and occasional one-off performances or services around the Greater Manchester area. Our repertoire spans from baroque / renaissance to contemporary chamber choir music.
We are presently looking for an accompanist to join us - if you have some experience accompanying choirs, please get in touch! We currently offer a small honorarium. The repertoire for this term is John Stainer's "The Crucifixion," with our concert in early March.
Please reach out to Jennifer Liem-Hewitt at info@scholachoir.org for more information.
