Assistant Director of Music: St Mary the Virgin Church, Wheatley, Oxfordshire

The creation of a new Junior Choir (Praise!) has created an opportunity for an enthusiastic musician to provide assistance in all aspects of Evening Worship. The successful applicant will be a competent keyboard player and will have two or more of the following areas of experience:-

- organ playing
- choir directing

- choral singing

- ministry (e.g. leading family services)

and be willing to develop in all four areas.

The assistant will have self-employed status and be contracted to assist with the Junior Choir and Choral Evensong weekly during term time (Sundays 4pm - 7pm.) Opportunities to deputise at the morning and other services will be available. Training will be provided as appropriate.

Remuneration will be at RSCM rates according to experience.
