Solihull School seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced choir director to join our thriving Music Department from September 2024 to sustain and develop our high-level singing, especially the Chapel Choirs, and further enhance the School's reputation as a centre of excellence. We are keen to find the most suitable person for the position and are open to considering applicants looking for either a full- or part-time position. 

The successful candidate will lead, direct and develop music in the Chapel as well as seek opportunities for the choir outside its normal routines. They will also prepare students for university choral/organ scholarships and be one of the staff piano accompanists for concerts and exams. In addition, there is scope to include teaching (academic and/or instrumental/vocal), directing other ensembles (vocal/instrumental), supporting the choral outreach programme, and having oversight of the Singing Department.
