Songbyrds is a female-voice community choir based in Northfields, west London. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings during term-time and perform once or twice each term. Our repertoire is very varied, from Mozart to Coldplay. Some of the choir read music, and some don't. Our main aim is to enjoy rehearsals, improve towards performance, and have fun.

We are looking for a new music director to lead rehearsals (including playing piano/keyboard) and conduct performances, starting from September 2024. We would ideally like someone with experience of running a choir, but will also consider a music student - as long as you have a passion for music and an enthusiasm for bringing out the best in people.

We pay a termly retainer, and for each rehearsal and performance.
