Following the formation of a new Junior Choir in September 2023, we have recently increased the budget for music provision at St John’s, and now invite applications for a Director of Music (Designate) who, over the course of an agreed handover period, will assume overall responsibility for leading music in worship, and direct the Adult Choir.

St John’s is known for its warm welcome to everyone; the church is a beautiful light-filled building, with an acoustic ideal for music-making. The congregation and clergy value the contribution good music brings to worship, based around a weekly Sung Eucharist and monthly Evensong.
