The Music Makers Choir of Harpenden is seeking an accompanist. The choir is a friendly, non-auditioned ensemble of around 35 adult singers. While we maintain a relaxed atmosphere, we are committed to achieving high musical standards. We generally perform two formal concerts and a lighter Christmas Concert every year.

Role Details:

• Rehearsals: Wednesdays during term time, 8:00–9:45 PM

• Location: High Street Methodist Church, Harpenden, AL5 2RU

• Start Date: September 2025

• Fees: £85 per rehearsal, £270 per concert

Responsibilities:

• Provide piano accompaniment for weekly rehearsals

• Accompany the choir during concerts, including organ accompaniment when required

• Occasionally lead rehearsals or sectional practices from the keyboard
