In Ecclesia is a friendly and longstanding auditioned choir based in Taunton with a membership of about 30. Our main purpose is to sing choral services (especially Prayer Book Evensong) in local churches that cannot support their own choirs. We sing between 9 and 13 services a year and, usually, one cathedral weekend a year. The membership of collaborative and experienced church musicians is keen to find someone who can lead them forward in this, the choir's 70th anniversary year.

Rehearsals currently take place for 1½ hours on a Thursday evening during school term times (typically about 36 rehearsals a year) in King’s College Taunton chapel by kind permission of the Headmaster.

IE is occasionally invited to sing for weddings, funerals  and other festival services.
