Manchester Glee is looking for a new Musical Director to start in January 2026. We are a fun, amateur, non-audition adult choir with around 35 members who have been singing together since 2010. We sing in four-part harmonies. We are looking for a Musical Director who is fun, creative, upbeat and passionate and will help the group indulge in their love of pop and musical theatre songs, with a few cheesy numbers thrown in!

The MD would be responsible for some song selections and would be required to arrange all songs. They will be required to accompany the choir on the keyboard (which can be provided).

We work throughout the year towards our main show in November/ December time, there are sometimes other ad hoc performances throughout the year and a couple on Tuesdays before Christmas. Rehearsals take place at Southwest Manchester Cricket Club, Chorlton, Manchester (M21) every Tuesday evening between 7:30 and 9pm.
