Sawtry Chorale is due to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in September 2026 and is seeking an experienced accompanist for rehearsals and concerts with effect from January 2026. Our Musical Director, Ollie Hamilton-Box joined the choir in September 2022 and has taken the choir from strength to strength with a current membership of 43. Our repertoire includes a mixture of traditional choral works together with some lesser known and contemporary pieces. We are sometimes supported by professional musicians and soloists and perform a minimum of 4 concerts per year. Not all choir members can read music so note-learning is an integral part of each rehearsal.

Rehearsals are normally 2 hours in duration and take place every Wednesday evening 7.30-9.30pm during term time at Sawtry Methodist Church Hall, Sawtry Cambridgeshire PE28 5UX. For further details on the position including how to apply, please email sawtrychorale@gmail.com
