Musical Director: Parnham Voices
Parnham Voices, an established 18-member a cappella chamber choir, invites applications for the position of Music Director, effective from January 2026.
The Music Director will be responsible for:
- Conducting rehearsals: planning and leading effective rehearsals that enhance vocal skills and ensemble cohesion.
- Performance direction: selecting repertoire, preparing the choir for performances, and conducting concerts and events.
- Collaboration: working closely with choir members to foster a productive musical environment.
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Experience conducting amateur vocal ensembles
- Strong musical skills, including music theory and vocal techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to engage a diverse group of singers.
- Commitment to inclusivity within the choir.
