The University of Birmingham is seeking to appoint a new professional conductor to work with its large, un-auditioned community choir, University Chorus.

One of the many ensembles that make up our extra-curricular offer (known as University Music) the choir is an open access ensemble with students, staff, and community members from across the University and local area taking part.

The choir rehearse on regular Tuesday evenings (1900-2130) from September through until March of each academic year. They perform two concerts each year. Demonstratable experience of working with singers from across a range of abilities and ages is essential for this role.
