Following the promotion of our current accompanist, William Campbell, to the position of Assistant Director of Music at Peterborough Cathedral,  Wetherby Choral Society are seeking to appoint a new accompanist from September 2026.

Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings from 7.30-9.30p.m. from September to the end of June.

We require someone that shares our love of the choral tradition and who will relish the prospect of accompanying repertoire from the last 400 years. They should be a fluent pianist with good sight-reading and score-reading abilities, preferably with experience of the demands of choral accompaniment. 

Short-listed candidates will be invited to accompany a regular rehearsal as part of the selection process.
