The successful applicant would oversee all musical aspects of the choir, including repertoire, rehearsal and concert programming and work in collaboration with the Committee and our excellent accompanist.

A registered Charity, we were established almost 20 years ago and over the past five years we have grown from a willing group of singers to a highly regarded TTBB choir of some 40 voices. Our purpose is to enjoy the camaraderie of singing together and to raise money for local and national charities.

The successful candidate would be expected to continue to provide instruction and encouragement to improve our performance and technique. We have an extensive repertoire but are keen to expand it.

Selection will be by interview, and short-listed candidates will be asked to lead a short rehearsal audition  on a mutually agreed date and take us through both a piece we already know well, and the direction of a new piece of the candidates' choice. No doubt you will be as keen to audition us as we will be to audition you!

We rehearse weekly in Cirencester on Monday evenings and traditionally take a break during the month of August.

The successful applicant would be engaged on a self-employed basis, being responsible for their own Tax and National Insurance contributions. We are well funded through subscription and sponsorship, and remuneration would be on a per rehearsal and per concert basis - including afternoon rehearsals on the day of the concert. Expenses may be paid, by agreement with the Committee.
