Established Choir in South East London looking for a new leader . 

Trade Winds is a lively group of 16  women who have been together since 2008, and are looking for a new choir leader to join us from September 2026.

Based in Forest Hill, we rehearse on the 1st & 3rd Saturday each month.

We sing a cappella and our repertoire includes folk, jazz, classic pop and world music, with a focus on rich harmonies and singing from diverse traditions.

We learn by ear, perform without sheet music, creating warm and engaging performances.

We are seeking someone who:

• Can lead Saturday rehearsals on 1st /3rd Saturday afternoons for 2.5 hours.
• Has experience of leading singing groups and teaching a cappella music aurally.
• Can bring songs for us and provide lyric sheets and learning tracks.
• Can prepare the choir for 2/3 performances each year
• Brings enthusiasm, fun and a supportive and collaborative approach to rehearsals
