mWe are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic choral music maker, experienced singer, educator or conductor, to lead the music making amongst the youth (years 3-9) and senior scholars (years 10-university age) at Holy Trinity, Roehampton. The role will include leading weekly rehearsals to bring these groups together with the adult Sunday morning choir, building musical intergenerational relationships in the church. Conducting on a Sunday morning will occasionally feature alongside some necessary administration, but predominantly this work will take place one afternoon a week during termtime. The intention is to grow music making among young people, funding this in large part through grants which are currently being sought by our project development adviser; thus there is a likelihood of opportunities for the post holder to take on additional responsibilities (appropriately compensated) in future.
