The Bostock Singers wish to recruit an accompanist. 

We are a 60+ strong mixed voice choir (SATB) based in Hartford, near Northwich in Cheshire. Founded in 2009, our membership is drawn from all over Cheshire, from Widnes in the North, to Crewe in the South. We meet for rehearsals on Tuesdays (term-time only) from 7pm until 9pm at the Grange Junior School on Beechwood Avenue, Hartford where we indulge in high quality music making whilst having fun.

We are looking for a talented, dynamic accompanist who will support not only the choir, but our current Musical Director Nicola Howbrigg, as she progresses the choir both musically and vocally. A successful candidate would not only be required to play for rehearsals, but also for concerts and competitions. There is also an expectation that they would lead sectional rehearsals when required. 

The Bostock Singers have grown greatly in number over the past 3 years. We are an ambitious choir, driven by high standards, laughter and vocal excellence. Competitive festivals are important to us and are a key part of our performances. Anybody applying for this role would need to be willing to support this ethos and be available to accompany as such events.

The deadline for applications is: Friday 14th June 2024. Auditions will be held on either Tuesday 18th or Tuesday 25th June 2024. Applicants must be available to attend an audition on one of these two dates.
