St Mary's Church, Henley-on-Thames are looking to recruit 1 soprano and 1 alto choral scholar. Whilst we are a choir of volunteers, the standard is very high and we have recently appointed an Assistant Organist; restored our organ (2022); commissioned a new piece of choral music for our Patronal Festival; collaborated with a member of The King's Singers and have been invited to sing a recorded service for BBC Radio 4's Sunday Morning Service to be broadcast on 30^th June 2024. For the right person, first refusal on all weddings/funerals paid separated at £125 each. You can expect at least 10-15 per year. This would be perfect for recent graduates looking to continue singing and being part of a rewarding team.
