The Trustees wish to appoint a successor to Richard Vendome, founder and Director of Oxford Girls' Choir and of Oxford Youth Choirs, who will be retiring in July 2024 after 40 years. The Musical Director leads a team of talented teachers, and the role combines elements of artistic and musical direction, as well as operational oversight.

Since 1984, Oxford Girls' Choir has evolved into a family of six groups, each with its own teaching staff:

1. Musical Mayhem for babies and toddlers (two classes, ages 3 months to 4 years).

2. Prep Choir (two classes, ages 4-5 and 6-7).

3. Junior Choir (mixed, ages 8-11).
