The Oldham Choir is seeking a new musical director to start in September 2025.

We are a non-audition SATB choir of around 30 members, founded in 1963. We perform an eclectic mix of traditional choral music, folk music, and lighter items.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and supportive conductor with a passion for amateur music making, who also has experience of working with mixed-ability groups, and non-music readers.

Rehearsals and concerts: Monday evenings (term time only) 7:15 to 9:15pm, plus 2-3 concerts a year.

Fee: The post is remunerated, on a self-employed basis
