Avon and Somerset Police Community Male Voice Choir has been established for over fifty years and is approximately forty-five strong, the members comprising a blend of retired Police Force personnel and members of the public. We sing four-part harmony and our repertoire includes traditional folk songs, spirituals, sacred music and songs from the musicals. 

We perform concerts approximately once a month, raising money for various charities.  Rehearsals are on Monday evenings at Police Headquarters in Portishead. 

We require a person with a first-class knowledge of music and ideally some previous experience of leading a choir.  Applicants should have good keyboard skills, have stage presence and an outgoing personality.

The post is self-employed and details will be revealed to applicants on enquiry. Applicants will be invited to take part in a rehearsal so that a mutual assessment may be made.
