Ramsey Choral Society is seeking a new Musical Director from January 2027. We are an established mixed-voice (SATB) choral group of approx. 25 members based in Cambridgeshire. We take pride in producing good-quality music in a friendly and inclusive environment. We are a non-auditioned choir. Previous performances include large and small choral works, and modern pieces.

Requirements:

• Lead confidently from the piano
• Able to select from a wide repertoire of styles to suit our group.
• Positive, engaging, inspiring, and supportive of a range of abilities.

Rehearsals: Weekly Thursday evenings, 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Location: Ramsey, Cambridgeshire.
Three main concerts per year, plus occasional additional events.

Role: Musical direction, rehearsal leadership, and concert preparation. Salary: Negotiable (self-employed basis).
