Accompanist: Newbury Chamber Choir
Newbury Chamber Choir is looking for an accompanist starting January 2027
The successful candidate will have excellent piano skills to provide accompaniment for rehearsals and concerts, ideally have experience accompanying choirs and will work closely with our MD Ben de Souza.
We are an established friendly mixed-voice choir of around 45 singers. We do not audition, but aim for high standards and perform three concerts a year
Rehearsals are weekly during term time from 7.30-9.30pm Tuesday evenings at St. Nicolas CE Junior School , Link Road, Newbury RG14 7UL, near the railway station. We perform three concerts a year
Remuneration is based on a fee per rehearsal and per concert: engagement is self-employed. Remuneration will be discussed at interview.
